The development of textiles in the world is constantly progressing. Unfortunately, since the beginning of the 90s, this branch of industry has been giving way to cheaper products imported from China, India or Pakistan, i.e. countries where entrepreneurs have cheap labor and mass production. This resulted in the flooding of the market with cheap products of very poor quality. In the case of down bedding, we are talking about poor quality material (inlet), which is characterized by low grammage. Very often, manufacturers use admixtures of synthetic fibers, which are not indifferent to your health. An even greater negative effect of mass production has been the quality of the filling of such products. East Asian manufacturers state on the labels of their products that the filling is goose down, meanwhile we really will not find a gram of goose down! only post-slaughter chicken and duck feathers ground in special chopper mills, which are abundant in East Asia.
There are only a few companies in Poland that produce quilts and pillows from real goose and duck down using 100% cotton inlet. The whole mass of sellers posing as manufacturers of bedding products is simply a farce! A Polish manufacturer is not able to produce a down quilt for PLN 190! I am especially talking about crypto-producers offering their products on auction portals. The whole mass of sellers import their products from the previously mentioned countries.
In order to meet the expectations of customers who are looking for good quality products at an affordable price, we produce duvets and pillows only from natural raw materials. We obtain goose down only from farms located in Europe and meeting all European Union standards. We wash the raw material in hot water, which kills bacteria and our down does not have an odor. Here's an interesting fact - duvets and pillows imported from Asia have a filling that is often not washed at all, which is why they have an unpleasant smell or are washed in cold water, which significantly reduces production costs but does not kill microorganisms.
